Associate Creative Director, Art

We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced senior art director to help develop new ways to present to clients, new ways to pitch to prospective clients, and exciting, new ideas to build out creative opportunities nationwide.

We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director (ACD) with an art direction background and a passion for creating digitally connected, insight driven, award-winning work.

As ACD, you’ll get a chance to create the visual direction of creative work for a roster of tourism clients across the country, as well as brand partnerships with well-known consumer brands. Working seamlessly as a part of a passionate marketing team, you’ll have the opportunity to help produce head-turning work that drives consumer engagement, traffic, and builds strong emotional connections

As ACD (Art), you’ll get a chance to not only come up with ideas, but you’ll be involved in every stage of the creative process —everything from concept to art direction and anything in-between. Working closely with the VP, Creative Director, account leads, and sales, you will create and deliver work that’s engaging, innovative, immersive, and most importantly: memorable.

You should enjoy ideating big concepts just as much as you love designing and wowing people with your exceptional, creative art direction and design skills. You’ll help us push the boundaries of strategic storytelling, marketing, and concept creation — building best-in-class experiences that bring more traffic and engagement to our clients and prospects.

Responsibilities:

This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, driving the ideation and execution of various internal marketing initiatives and external client creative.

  • Interpret and interrogate client requests to create ideas that wow and are strategically driven, thought-provoking and compelling.
  • Design, for both internal and external needs, with a fresh perspective and big idea thinking that’s rooted in MediaOne’s overall goals.
  • Develop and maintain a passionate understanding and working knowledge of client’s business, brand, consumer, and competitive landscape to inform insightful brand engagements.
  • Help to lead our design of proposal decks, rebranding initiatives, one-sheeters, case studies, and more.
  • Craft ideas for engaging program activations and digital experiences for our client roster with the support of CD and marketing team.
  • Support video efforts – both internally and externally. This could include production, editing, post-production, animation, etc.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing on any conferences, trade shows, and public speaking engagement efforts where new ideas or design is needed.
  • Brainstorm impactful, compelling presentation and pitch ideas for our clients and prospects.
  • Execute creative conceptual ideas for client events, advertising, campaigns, and activations beyond digital approaches.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years of creative art direction and design experience in an agency or brand space
  • Expert proficiency and considerable hands-on experience with Adobe products (Including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, able to inspire others and sell creative vision.
  • Ability to interpret briefs and quickly concept solutions that are strategically driven, compelling and address consumer issues.
  • Cultivates and manages relationships with other teams to improve workflows and collaboration.
  • Ability to manage the day-to-day of a creative team, track project timelines, and ensure all creative deliverables are met for existing projects.
  • Help to foster a positive, trusting, and collaborative team culture.
  • Strong grasp of developing the art direction and creation of promotions, social, brand campaigns, brand guidelines, online advertising, site content, etc.
  • Strong portfolio with examples of recent projects demonstrating creative thinking and flawless execution.
  • Experience in motion design, digital design, and digital design programs like Figma, Sketch, etc. a plus.
  • Have critical attention to detail (when it comes to design and art direction)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple client projects and demands at once.
